Laurie, his foster mom, has completely fell in love with him and will be adopting him! Yahoo for little Jimmy and for Laurie!

As Laurie says:

Jimmy is no longer a foster boy. This is his home :) My heart knew it from the get go but I had to take my husband’s feelings into consideration… This is the second time the cosmos has dropped a tuxedo kitten in my lap when I was going through an extremely difficult time. Both times, the kittens have helped me in ways I can’t begin to put into words and I will be forever grateful for them. Now, to integrate Jimmy into the house with Phoebe and Crazy. Phoebe already spends time with him in the sunroom and Crazy interacts through the glass door. Crazy’s a bit territorial and we’ll have to see how she acts with the smaller version of herself. She’s very playful, though. I think she’ll enjoy having someone to play with after she gets over her mad.

Thank you Laurie for giving sweet Diamond Jim a wonderful home filled with lots of affection and play! This news beings me great joy.

Rescue stories such as these really warm my heart. Little Diamond Jim was destined to grow up on the street, never knowing the love of human touch and then a group of us TNR people stepped in and gave him and a bunch of his siblings a chance at a cushy life. He would have missed out on all the joys of being spoiled by humans and now he gets his chance! It’s great to be making a difference in the lives of cats, one cat at a time.

When our second tux kitty came to live with us, I joked that I’d have a house full of them someday. I think the joke might have been a prophecy………..soon they’ll be draped across all the furniture, jumping from beam to beam in the great room and one in every window. I SWEAR, they just come to me! I haven’t sought out one of them :)

I forgot to add that it looks like Jimmy’s pretty Siamese sister has found a home, as well. She’s still rooming here with him but someone has expressed interest in her. She’s still on the shy side but is getting braver every day. She loves to be held and to play. Being walked up to, not so much.
