recent happenings

Things have been kind of quiet here on the TNR front. I haven’t seen Goliath lately, so I may have missed my chance to trap him for a neuter check. Hershey has found his forever home. I continue to work on some holding pens for cats. I’ve been working on preparing equipment, improving supply storage and building a processing area for the cats.

A large cooperative TNR project is on the horizon. Our goal is 50 cats. More on this later.

I’m looking forward to the details on the upcoming project. 50 cats — wow!

BTW, I got Toby into a carrier quite easily yesterday after work, and he’s at the clinic now for a day or two for tests, before heading to his new home. Took his “house” as well, so he’ll have something familiar. Post is on my personal blog, in case you want to catch up!

A real emotional wringer, though, in terms of such mixed feelings, wondering if I was doing the right thing for him, etc. I know you understand!

That is a great article about doing the feral cats. Sounds like a really humane way to do it.
    Take care.
